Описание к видео Tears of the Rotator Cuff Part 2: Identifying Tears on MRI

This is part 2 of our rotator cuff series. In this video we will go over what a normal rotator cuff looks like on MRI, learn some of the different types of rotator cuff tears, and how to identify these tears on MRI scan.

In general, rotator cuff pathology can be classified as:
1) Tendinopathy
2) Partial tears (bursal and articular sided)
3) Small size
4) Medium sized
5) Large/massive size

In addition, the term "retracted" is used to describe how far away the tendon has pulled away from the bone.
