Benefits of the Scholarship

The scholarship covers the following:Approved airfare from the scholar’s home country to the UK and return at the end of the award.
Full tuition fees as agreed between the CSC and the UK university.
Monthly living allowance of £1,378, or £1,690 for scholars studying in the London metropolitan area.
Warm clothing allowance where applicable.
Thesis grant for the preparation of a dissertation or thesis.
Study travel grant for study-related travel within or outside the UK.
Contribution towards the cost of a mandatory tuberculosis (TB) test required for a visa application.
Child allowance of £590 per month for the first child and £146 per month for the second and third child under 16, if the scholar is a single parent, divorced, or widowed, and their children reside with them in the UK.
