Can Burgundy be good value?

Описание к видео Can Burgundy be good value?

This time I go through my typical search for value in Burgundy with 3 wines:
2004 Meursault by Henri Boillot
2020 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru "Les Paulands" by Chanterêves
2016 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux-Monts" by Bruno Desaunay-Bissey
They were all chosen for value from three perspectives--the Boillot, aged white Burg from a trusted traditional producer that comes in for half the price of their new releases, but carries sub-par vintage and premox risks. The "vin nature" newcomer (to me) with a young 1er cru that could, based on other bottlings I've tried, be a top quality under the radar type of overperformer. And a traditional but lesser known producer of a top Vosne terroir in a decent vintage for under €100. Hunting for value in Burgundy ain't easy--it'll always be costly compared to other regions, but can the rewards outweigh the hit in this price class?
