The Book of Ecclesiastes: Chapter 2

Описание к видео The Book of Ecclesiastes: Chapter 2

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Welcome back to the channel!

Today, we beginning our study of The Book of 2 Thessalonians.

The second chapter in the book of Ecclesiastes is written King Solomon, son of King David, inspired by the Holy Spirit, in the year 931 BC in his old age. King Solomon was known as "The Teacher" and was the richest, wisest person to have ever lived.

Within this chapter King Solomon shares with us the details of his great wealth, and is concerned about his successor. He realizes that he cannot take any of it with him, and to enjoy the toils of his labor during his life as it is a reward from God.

We are not to make idols of anything material or focus on life's fleeting pleasures, but know that our true treasure is in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit!

This is a beautiful example of the Holy Spirit showing emphasis and importance in this scripture.

We are to follow the example of transparency of the King Solomon in our relationship with the Lord!

The Lord will protect us because He is our protector!

The Lord will keep us safe and will never abandon us in our time of need!

We have free will to remember the times that the Lord was there for us in the past and trust in His unwavering character that He will always be there for us in the future! Amen!

I'm so grateful for the love of Christ and his sacrifice on Calvary! We have free will to love and live for our Almighty God, even when we make mistakes, He forgives us and helps us to do His will!
