Speaker 1: Olumide Onabanjo  (2021 Erasmus Awardee - EMABG)

Brief Profile of Speaker 1

Olumide Onabanjo bagged his Bachelors degree from the department of Animal Production and Health, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. In 2021, he was awarded the European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics scholarship to study in Germany and Norway.
At present, he studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences where he would round up his Master program.

His research interest is in the analysis of Genomic data to better understand the genetic architecture of phenotypes such as diseases.

Speaker 2: Toluse Ashaolu (2022 Erasmus Awardee - CIRCLE)

Brief Profile of Speaker 2:

Toluse Ashaolu is currently undergoing her MSc. programme in Circular Economy under the Erasmus Mundus scholarships. She is in her first year at Chalmers University of Science and Technology, Sweden. She graduated from the department of Agricultural Administration, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Toluse is an SDG advocate, she has a special interest in the conservation of resources (both natural and man-made will help to foster sustainability and development. Toluse was a Banker at Zenith bank Plc before she won a scholarship to further her studies. She also worked as a Graduate Assistant in the department of Agricultural Education at the Federal College of Education, Oyo (special).

Toluse have had her fair share of love letters, but she was never discouraged. She later won the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and the Commonwealth Scholarship simultaneously.

Speaker 3: Ishola Abeeb Akinwumi (2022 Erasmus Awardee - Chemoinformatics+)

Brief Profile of Speaker 3:
Akinwumi Ishola Abeeb is a Master's Student Studying Chemoinformatics+ (Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry) Under the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Akinwumi Ishola Abeeb had his first degree from the best University of Technology in Nigeria, the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Chemistry department, where he graduated with a first-class degree. He has written some textbooks helpful for high school and undergraduate students, including High grade, simplified Chemistry and Chemistry in minutes.

He is the Founder of IN- SILICO LAB, founded in 2022, where he used different computer-aided drug designs and discovery tools, and other software to design drugs that can be used in the treatment of various diseases such as Malaria, diabetes, and Covid-19.

His Current Research interest includes Computational Chemistry, in silico study, and Chemoinformatics for Biophysical and Computational Chemistry. He is open to research collaborations from any related chemistry field.
He has received some awards in the past. These include:

1. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (Chemoinformatics+).
2.University of Calabria, Italy (MSc Scholarship in Chemistry).
3. Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (MSc Scholarship in Pharmaceutical Chemistry).
4. I-Scholar Initiative Scholarship.
