► Das FUSE ist ein mitlaufendes Auffanggerät, das neue Maßstäbe setzt. Als einziges Sicherungsgerät am Markt erfüllt es bis 140 kg Nutzlast alle maßgeblichen Standards in Europa und Nordamerika.
Neu ist die raffinierte Aufhängung am Hebelarm, so läuft das Gerät extrem leichtgängig am Sicherungsseil mit, im Aufstieg ebenso wie beim Abseilen. Die konstruktive Trennung des Blockiermechanismus von dessen geschwindigkeitsabhängigem Aktivator machen das Gerät zuverlässiger und sicherer. Dieses System ist zum Patent angemeldet. Der Klemmnocken funktioniert ohne Zahnung, was das Seil erheblich schont und einen Seilriss bei Überlast verhindert. Außerdem kann die Klemmung so ohne vollständige Entlastung gelöst werden. Die praktische Arretierfunktion aktiviert die Klemmung bei Bedarf.
Die Kombination mit den leichten und kompakten DEFUSER Falldämpfern (S, L oder RESCUE) ist verpflichtend und der maximale Fangstoß liegt 30 % unter der Norm. Durch die unterschiedliche Dämpferlängen und -leistungsparameter gibt es für jeden Einsatzzweck das ideale Setup – beispielsweise auch für Rettungseinsätze und die horizontale Anwendung.

► The FUSE is a guided-type fall arrester redefining the standards. As the only belaying device in the market, it meets all relevant standards in Europe and North America for a payload of up to 140 kg.
New is the ingenious suspension on the lever arm; it lets the device run extremely smoothly along the belaying rope during both ascent and descent.
The mechanic separation of the blocking mechanism and its speed-dependent activator make the device more reliable and safe. Patenting of this system has been applied for. The clamping cam works without toothing, meaning less strain on the rope and preventing tearing of the rope in case of overload. Additionally, the clamping can be released without completely unloading it. The practical arrest function activates the clamping if needed.
The device must be combined with the light and compact DEFUSER energy absorbers (S, L, or RESCUE), reducing the maximum fall impact to 30 % below what is allowed in standards. The different energy absorber lengths and performance parameters allow configuring the ideal setup for any application – even for rescue operations and horizontal use.
