I always use low gear both up and down the hill
While going up and down the hill, and I use a low gear. It is recommended that you should not exceed 3rd gear for the uphill. If you start to feel that the motorcycle has no power, it was able to lower the gear to a lower level to increase the engine to be strong and always use low gear for downhill.
For automatic gear motorcycle, twist the throttle a little to prevent the wheels from slipping
Both of the above methods are to cause the motorcycle run slower, known as Engine Brake. This will help slow down the motorcycle without you having to ride the brake.
