Basically everything you need to evaluate Ooma VoIP to replace your landline. Honestly, it blows away your traditional landline provider at only $5/month which is basically taxes. Check them out.

UPDATE: I get "This number has been disconnected" when i try to dial my cell phone. I get around this by putting the country code "1" before dialing my number. A minor inconvenience vs other providers but who cares at this price.

This also USES Your Home Internet connection so you WILL NEED Home internet. You could get their cell service but it costs more, idk how much. This WILL NOT WORK in a power outage UNLESS you plug this, your internet modem, and router into a battery backup called a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) you can pick up at BestBuy or Amazon. But its NOT Like the old copper landline. If its mission critical reliability you want, get a Verizon Wireless mobile phone.
