The original melody for this piece came to me while I was thinking about the end-of-year celebrations.
Thanksgiving, a major holiday in the United States—arguably even more important than Christmas—originally commemorates a moment of sharing and mutual support between European colonists and Indigenous peoples.
While that picture is of course somewhat idealized, I composed the piece with that symbolism in mind.
At a time when humanity is still torn apart on many fronts, I continued writing this piece as a small ode to reconciliation, sharing, and gratitude.

More simply, it’s also about the warm moments of family reunions that I wanted to evoke.
A great moment of genuine peace before Black Friday !!
Let’s always keep hope for a better world.

La mélodie originale de ce morceau est arrivée alors que je pensais aux fêtes de fin d’année…
La fête du Thanksgiving, très importante aux Etats-Unis où elle a presque plus d’importance que la fête de Noël, commémore à l’origine un moment de partage et d’entraide entre les colons européens et peuples autochtones.
Si ce tableau est évidemment un peu idyllique… j’ai composé la pièce avec cette symbolique en tête…

A l’heure où l’humanité se déchire toujours sur de nombreux fronts, j’ai continué la composition de ce morceau comme une petite ode à la réconciliation, au partage et à la gratitude.

Plus simplement, ce sont aussi les chaleureux moments de retrouvailles en famille que j'ai aussi cherché à évoquer… un grand moment de paix authentique avant le Black Friday !!
Gardons toujours espoir dans un monde meilleur.
