Thanks for watching this video! I could complain about the remaster course, but since I'm in a good mood on Valentine's Day, I'll be somewhat nice. First, there are a lot of changes. Granted, I literally ran this in the 30 minutes I had before work, but I already see some disasters as far as speedrunning this course is concerned. Second, the grab cancel doesn't seem to work anymore. If anyone can get it to work, comment it please. Third, someone didn't realize it was probably a good idea to allow mapping a flare to a single button, and on console it is an awkward two button press. Forth, if using the dpad, the flare freezes Lara's movement. Fifth, the New Game unlimited flare trick after beating the game no longer seems to work meaning you have only three attempts to beat this before exiting and doing the insanely mundane chore of getting flares. Sixth and most crushing, the wall climb now requires an extra vertical step as the rope wall doesn't allow full left position anymore. This is most likely the developers trying to combat the corner glitch. Honestly, I'm totally out of practice on this level, but even so, I somehow managed this time. Awhile back I got a 1030 for PS and a 1032 on PC, and I was planning to try again on this version. However, seeing the new limitations, I don't know. I might just sit back and enjoy this for what it is. Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Shout out to Eric, Weed, Useless Assassin for being awesome as usual. Take Care.
