I've wanted to make this video for a long time. Halil and Gülhan's story has always touched me deeply. Both were deeply traumatized by the loss of their parents, and especially the terrible way they lost their father. It was then a domino effect with their mother, who ended her life paralyzed, suffering until the end, leaving two orphans and their grief. I imagine how Gülhan and Halil grew up in this pain, in this absence. Gülhan was always very protective of Halil and also caring. They shared such a beautiful and unique brotherly love, the two of them alone against the whole world. Halil, even though he was the youngest, had to take on the role of head of the family. I've always felt this brotherly love, this need to protect the other, and also the feeling of helplessness and despair at the thought of losing the other. Halil and Gülhan have always been there for each other, they are the most "precious" thing for each of them.
