Bagerhat, a great historical place. There You will see the Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali – a fine one storied building, It has a beautiful dome. Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali was buried there. The tomb is made of cut out stones. It cannot be accurately said where from these were brought. It is said that Pir Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali brought these from Chittagong by floating on water. On the tomb there are inscriptions in Arabic.

The shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (ra) is located in the Bagerhat district of the Khulna division. Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali is one of the prominent people of the Bagerhat district who has gained a good reputation in Bangladesh. Although he was born in India, he came to Jessore, Bagerhat area of ​​Bangladesh to preach the religion. The famous sixty-domed mosque of the Golden Age was built at Bagerhat. Here is his shrine. His mausoleum is built on high ground on the north bank of Khanjeli Dighi. The mausoleum is square, measuring 42 feet x 42 feet and the wall is 25 feet high, with a dome on the roof. The tomb of Hazrat Khanjahan (RA) is located on a stone altar inside the mausoleum. The architecture of a dargah or mausoleum is much like a sixty-domed one.

Khan Jahan Dighi is located on the southern side of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (Rh)’s Shrine occupying about 200 bighas of land. Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (Rh) released few crocodiles in this dighi. Two large-sized crocodiles named 'Kala Pahar' and 'Dhala Pahar' were very famous crocodiles in Khan Jahan dighi. But they have died later. Some sweet water crocodiles were also released in the dighi. People coming to visit the shrine feed the crocodiles with ducks, hens, sheep and goats. Dighi's main ramp is spacious and beautiful. There are separate ramps for the women. This dighi is also called the Thakur Dighi.
