Watson Lake Arizona

Join me on a walking tour around Watson Lake in Arizona. It is one of two man-made reservoirs at the Granite Dells. The lake is located just four miles away from downtown Prescott Arizona. Here you can go fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, camping and picnicking. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in the park as well as from companions in the neighborhood. This scenic lake allows access to Watson Woods, as well as the boulders of the Granite Dells. Campsites are available during the summer season. Showers, restrooms, ramadas, picnic tables, grills and children's playground are provided. There is also fish cleaning stations and boat ramps. Visitors can fish from boats or from the banks of the Lake. Fish varieties include largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill and sunfish.
State laws regarding fishing licenses apply. This is a great place to visit if you are on vacation in Arizona.
