We were Invited to be part of Volkswagen Experiences Edition III where VW is driving a fleet of Tiguan R-Line cars from The Gateway of India to India Gate, visiting a number of significant monuments like the Laxmi Vilas Palace and the Statue of Unity along the way. With each leg being completed by a different set of Auto Journos like us. Welcome to leg three!

Time then to talk a little bit about the Tiguan R-Line. The Tiguan brand landed in India in 2017 and this is the all-new 3rd generation of the SUV. The Tiguan R-Line is the sportier variant of the brand with a sportier exterior, sports bucket seats up front, a plus interior experience with a new 15 inch touchscreen, ambient lighting and plenty of space. The R-Line is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that makes 204PS and 320Nm paired with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and also featuring 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
