Leo is actually my favorite turtle since childhood, and whilst the game doesn't have a bona fide grappler, Raphael is the closest character to one with his suplex and grab super. He also hits hard and has a short taunt, which of course can be very helpful.

I can play better than this run for sure, but it was my first clear on Gnarly difficulty and thus I would like to preserve it. Enemies hit hard on Gnarly, especially the bosses, so playing safe is often the best strategy. This isn't always the most fun course of action though, so I often just go for regular attacks rather than spam taunt and super. Still, there are some good strats against the bosses, which I hope you will find useful.

I like the game but don't love it. It can be very frustrating and cheap at times. The bosses are definitely the weak point, with their attacks and patterns being very samey. Only being allowed to hurt them at certain points can be quite boring in all honesty, as there is a lot of waiting around for their invincibility to end. The game is also too long for an arcade style action title in my opinion.

However, the game looks absolutely gorgeous, and has a great soundtrack. There was a lot of love gone into this and it shows. A recent patch made the game better to play - for example giving invincibility on throws - but it still suffers from the aforementioned issues. The devs have kindly introduced some cool options to toggle on and off, including changing how supers work or increasing the hp of enemies. I show off this menu near the beginning of the video.

Overall, I'd recommend it, but don't be expecting the gameplay to be a masterpiece. I have yet to play it in multi-player but imagine it would be a lot of fun.
