More House, a living, breathing 10,000 sq. ft. sanctuary in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, with interiors enlivened by islands of greenery thriving under generous skylights.
Set in the heart of Banjara Hills, More House offers a tranquil retreat that blurs the boundaries between city and sky. Designed by Principal Architects Baba Sashank and Vindhya Guduru, this house is made to grow and evolve like nature itself. Its static interiors are animated by lush pockets of vegetation, while skylights and indoor gardens invite sunlight, shadow, and greenery at every turn, building a home that feels alive and deeply connected to nature. This haven of serenity unfolds over 10,000 sq. ft., embracing stillness and simplicity. A stilted entry leads to an outdoor foyer, entertainment area, and backyard, while upper floors reveal private bedrooms, a sunlit kitchen, and a library overlooking cascading greenery.
Strategic cut-outs and skylights connect all floors, letting vegetation and light flow freely throughout the home. Bedrooms are thoughtfully positioned along the western edge to buffer heat, while metal screens wrapped in climbing plants provide privacy and soften views. Every material and finish is chosen for continuity and elegance with marbles like Crema Jasper gliding effortlessly through spaces, complemented by tactile textures and curated greenery that enrich the sensory experience.
My Idea of Luxury is a series of short vignettes that epitomise luxury living, as conceptualised by the country’s finest architects and designers. While highlighting the exquisite marble and stonework in these homes, not all materials are sourced from Marble Centre International.
