What Sara Duterte told Gloria Macapagal Arroyo after refusal to take oath | ABS-CBN News

Vice President Sara Duterte was seen approaching Pampanga 2nd district Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo after the former president backed her refusal to take oath during a House panel's probe into her office's fund utilization on Wednesday (September 18).

Speaking with reporters after her early exit from the hearing, Duterte revealed what she told Arroyo as well as to Sagip Rep. Rodante Marcoleta during a break from the hearing.

"Ma'am, huwag ka na magpa-stress dahil dito sa ginawa nila sa akin. Kaya ko ito. Don't stress yourself about it," Duterte recalled telling Arroyo.

She recalled saying similarly to Marcoleta, another political ally whom she approached before returning to her seat for the resumption of the proceedings.
