Making My Own Colder Running Thermostat - Opel Corsa OPC

Figured out that you can easily us Porsche 996 thermostat to run the Z16LET a bit cooler. OEM thermostat will start to open at 92° C and will be fully open at 107° C. The Porsche 996 thermostat will open at 83° C and fully opens at 93 ° C. This means water will flow to the radiator at much lower temperature. Probably will need to modify the cooling fans also to engage at lower temp. This also works on other GM engines that uses the same thermostat housing.
