While listing their products on meesho the major issue seller gets is while filling the Manufacturer name, address & pin code, Packer name, address & pin code and Importer (where
country of origin is not India) name, address & pin code. Watch this video for the solution of this issue.

Also their are some Category-specific fields like BIS details, R/ Number & CM/L number to be updated if a supplier is selling Electronic & Appliances eg laptop charger,
mobile phones and Irons, Pressure Cooker, Pressure Cooker Gasket, Gas Stove or Helmet and other products which require mandatory BIS certification.

Product Length, Width and Height: Put number in centimetres while listing.
Home & kitchen products, Net Quantity to be added.
Beauty and personal care AND Health and wellness products:
Number of Sheets (in case of facial tissues, wax strips, wet
wipes and similar products)
Net Quantity
Included components in case of combo products
Product dimensions for kits,boxes etc. to be added

What is ‘R-number' and ‘CM/L number’ by BIS?
This is a number provided by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) which will be given on the product/packaging label of products. ‘R-number’(7-10digit) is mostly seen on electronic products (e.g. laptop charger, mobile phones) while other regulated products would have ‘CM/L number’ mentioned on the packaging.
