Ingredients

Sardine Fish - 1 kg
Onion - 2 nos
Green chilli - 2 to 3 nos
Garlic - 7 to 8 nos
Ginger - 1 nos
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Fenugreek powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli - 7 to 8 nos
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 or 2 tsp
Oil - 5 to 6 tbsp

Method

Today we have to prepare a sardine fish roast.
Firstly, we have to peel the onion and set it aside.
Peel the garlic and set it aside.
Then peel the ginger and keep it aside.
Then wash and drain the peeled onion, green chilli, garlic and ginger.
Chopped the onion and set aside.
Then cut the green chilli and keep it aside.
Chop the tomatoes and keep them aside.
Crush the dry red chilli into a fine powder and keep aside.
Then crush the ginger and garlic into a fine paste and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them crackle.
Then add green chilli and chopped onion.
Saute them well for a few minutes.
Then add crushed ginger and garlic and sauté them well.
Add crushed dry red chilli and turmeric powder.
Then add pepper powder and fenugreek powder.
Then add some red chilli powder and sauté them well.
Then add some red chilli powder.
Then add the tomatoes and sauté till the become soft.
Then sprinkle some salt on them and sauté them well.
Then add the cleaned fish and mix them properly.
Add some water and mix them well.
Cover and cook till the fish is well cooked.
Remove the lid and add some curry leaves.
Again, cover with a lid and cook them well.
Remove the lid and check whether the fish is cooked or not.
Once the fish roast is ready,
Remove from the fire and set aside.
Serve the tasty sardine fish roast
