Sometimes you fail at keeping the black rubber parts connected to the road. In this video you can see me being stupid enough to let that happen to my BMW R80.

Apart from a sour elbow and a damaged ego there were no injuries.
Damage was very minimal as well, two chinese mirrors were killed in action, the crashbar was scratched and the valve cover got scraped.

All of this happened some years ago, the bike has since been ridden for thousands of km's and was then sold.
