ROYAL WEDDING CONTROVERSY CONTINUES

Two days before her ex-husband, the heir to the British throne, Prince Charles marries Camilla Parker Bowles the popularity of Princess Diana remains as strong as ever.

Charles divorced Princess Diana in 1996 and she died in a car accident the next year.

Outside the Parisian spot where the Princess died in a fatal car accident eight years ago, tourists were divided about Charles' upcoming wedding.

Many Britons have mixed feelings toward Parker Bowles, who is widely blamed for hastening the break up of Charles' marriage to Princess Diana and is seen as a poor substitute for the much loved "people's princess."

For Diana fans, Charles' wedding is yet another example of his betrayal to her memory.

However, some royal fans believe now is the time to forgive and forget and that Charles should be allowed to get on with his life.

Most tourists visiting the crash site do so out of curiosity, but for some emotions still run high.
