Wings of Wor, also known as Gynoug in Japan and Europe, is a horizontal shooting game for the Sega Genesis. It was developed by Masaya (Langrisser series), and was published in North America by NCS Corporation in 1991. Players control the angel "Wor" who is tasked with protecting the heavens from invading demons. Aside from its exceptionally slick gameplay, Wings of Wor is also notable for its uniquely surreal boss designs. It's no surprise that the character designs were created by the same individual who worked on the design of the Cho Aniki shooting games.

Genesis Oddities is a series of videos that seeks to feature Sega Genesis games that have been forgotten by most gamers. The footage is filmed from an emulator, but I will only feature games that I own in my personal collection. The intent of the videos isn't to show a skilled run of each game, but to merely give the viewer an impression of a game that they may not have played before.
