After the completion of the body of my guitar #09, 'Nova', it is time for giving it very special fingerboard and bridge with 'modern' features: a slightly curved fingerboard with binding to cover the fret tangs, and decorative purflings, and a super lightweight, ebonized, 12-hole bridge to compliment the special Lamellae bracing system of the soundboard.

The whole idea about 'modern', 'fusion', 'neo', etc, classical nylon strung guitars revolves around having the classical sound with 'modern' playability, including especially ergonomic features. Many players used to steel strings, from electric or western guitars, find the lack of curvature in a classical guitar's fingerboard hard to adapt to. I also opted for a slightly smaller nut width on this neck, at 50mm.
