Git is the most important tool for collaboration and versioning. The impact of git gets more pronounced in a large teams or orgs where the same code based is used for large developments.

There are few bread and butter commands that are mostly needed for creating code changes, and here I am going to show just one piece of operation carrying from our first tutorial link of which is attached in this video.

This tutorial is assuming that git is already installed in ones machine and is ready to use.

Git Stash and Git checkout -

Both these commands are used to store or ignore uncommitted work. Stash saves the uncomitted work when its required to jump to a new branch immediately and when the current work is not in a commit-able status.
And git "checkout -- ." is used to ignore all the uncommitted work when you are not sure how to fix the current copy of the code.
