The journey of revival begins with resolve and no one has shown greater resolve than Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which after 18 years has returned to profitability. BSNL has scripted a turnaround that makes every Indian proud. In 2024-25, BSNL posted back-to-back profits 262 crore in Q3 and 280 crore in Q4. EBITDA too has crossed ₹5,395 crore, with margins at 23%. This is proof that BSNL is back on its feet, stronger than ever.
This revival is fueled by innovation and strategic partnerships, shaping a positive, youth-focused, and future-ready ecosystem. BSNL with its trusted partners is driving the rollout of indigenous 4G and 5G, developing enterprise-grade solutions, and creating opportunities for young people, particularly through partnerships with educational institutions. Another milestone is the MoU with Numaligarh Refinery Limited, which will see India's first 5G Captive Non-Public Network in the refinery sector. This is a huge step for industrial modernization and a big boost for jobs and skills in the Northeast.

It gives me immense pride to share that the real heroes of this turnaround are BSNL's workers, engineers, linemen and leaders across 32 circles. Their hard work, often in the toughest conditions, has powered this revival. Every tower they upgraded, every fiber they laid, every customer they served, has brought BSNL to this day.

As we move forward, our journey must grow, serving more people, serving them better and creating value along the way. BSNL needs to be committed to Six Sigma standards of quality. There has been a significant reduction in call drops, speeds are up, downtime is falling. The roadmap is ambitious with pan-India indigenous 4G, a phased 5G rollout, secure enterprise solutions, new industry models and a stronger focus on employees' growth and welfare
