Zurich based Marchisella and Johannesburg based Orecchia will perform three concerts over the course of three weeks. Each concert will have a different line-up and a different musical style. The two musicians will act as a "resident-band" at Zürich's historical home of the Dadaist movement, Cabaret Voltaire, each time inviting new collaborations with musicians from the far reaches of Zürich's unique musical landscape. The evenings will consist mainly of improvisations framed by Mario and João as an anchor. The idea of a 'concert series' allows the audience to have a unique view of the development the musicians go trough as the band's members change in that month of collaboration.

This follows a successful event in 2009 at Johannesburg, South Africa's premier arts complex Arts On Main, in which Marchisella, Orecchiaperformed with musicians from all walks of Johannesburg to an ever growing and ever awed audience. Guests included Selaelo Selota, Siya Makuzeni und Carlo Mombelli.

Mario and João will play partially on self built or modified instruments from vuvuzelas to tomato tins, combined with synthetic electronic sounds and common instruments like guitar, bass or drum kit. The two musicians had their first encounter 2008 in Johannesburg, where they performed together at Berlin Bar.
