When asked about the possibility of rejoining Korn, Welch said he didn’t think it would happen but left the door slightly open, acknowledging that life is unpredictable. He also reflected on his departure from the band, explaining that hearing his young daughter sing Korn lyrics made him question the environment he was creating for her. That realization pushed him to leave behind the rockstar lifestyle and prioritize being a better father.
