Gazing at the westbound twilight
Cradled by the faceless cold winds
I caress the sun on my face
As the darkness comes to take me

I've pursued the dust of hope
For far too long a time
I've been turned away by those
Bereft of eyes and ears

And this path so cold had I walked
Since the days of golden skies
Now there's nothing left of me
And I feel like I'm fading...

What is there to give on my part?
Countless days of lies and heartache
Passed me by and left me hollow
Petrified my heart with sorrow

But still desolation trails me
And my saviours, they forsake me
Past regrets and shame confined me
All my source of strength had failed me

But still I pressed on
With or without hope
For giving up is still beyond me
I will not submit!

Gazing at the fading twilight
Underneath the stormy night sky
All the pieces of my past life
Come to take me home...
