Fishing South Florida for *Mahi-Mahi and DEEP WATER Snapper* {Catch & Cook} Smoked Snapper Fish Dip

The BocaBros (Jake solo on this day) and Sarah head offshore fishing in Boca Raton for a catch and cook that you won't want to miss! Jake had just gotten back from two epic trips, one down to Flamingo flats fishing, and the other to Port Canveral fishing the shrimp boats for cobia. Finally back in town, Jake wanted to test out the new boat and do a shakedown of some of the upgrades he made before the Bocabros upcoming Keys trip. Once offshore, Jake and Sarah found an epic rip that was green dirty water on one side and crystal clear blue water on the other side. There were weeds in the rip and flying fish everywhere. It was the perfect scenario to hold some nice pelagic fish. After trolling for a bit with no luck and pulling off the first fish, a nice mahi-mahi hit the long bait and the action was one. The fish took a long run with multiple jumps and put on a show for the crew. After getting the dolphin to the boat, Jake reset the rods and bam a barracuda ate one of the planar baits immediately. Sarah got him to the boat quickly and Jake released the fish to swim another day. After no more bites trolling, they switched gears and dropped a heavy lead on the electric rod with 4 baits attached. Second drop Sarah hooked a big vermillion snapper! The team made a few more drops catching a small sand tilefish and another b-liner. The team wrapped up their day on the water and headed home where Jake was ready to prepare some smoked snapper fish dip! Jake walks through the delicious recipe and it was no doubt a home run.
