CataractCoach™1790: The Art of Refractive Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is so much more than just clearing the visual axis of opacities! Cataract surgery is our most powerful refractive surgery and in my practice I combine the two hand-in-hand. You could say that I'm a refractive surgeon specializing in lens and cornea based surgery. There is so much to learn about the refractive component and many residency training programs tend to have very little teaching about it. I enjoyed reading this book, The Art of Refractive Cataract Surgery, by Zhang, Sugar, and Arbisser and I even contributed a few diagrams for it. I have no financial interest in this book but I did enjoy reading it! I highly recommend it for residents, fellows, and beginning surgeons.
