A minor girl in Indore's Mhow was allegedly abducted and murdered, the police said on Monday. It is also being suspected that the minor was raped. The police, however, are yet to confirm the same. The local police have said that they have launched an investigation into the case and further action will be taken after the medical examinations are completed.

The minor girl lived with her parents under the Railway overbridge in Mhow. Her parents are beggars. On the night of the incident, the minor was sleeping with her parents. A senior police officer familiar with the case said that she is around five-years-old.
