A well played and loved Gibson Les Paul Cherry Sunburst Custom from 1971. The Customs from the early 70s are consistently increasing in value, gaining attention from both collectors and players due to their construction, appearance, and tone.

The Les Paul Custom has a pancake Mahogany body with a 3-piece Maple top and vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish. The Mahogany neck has a small volute and bound Ebony fretboard with block inlays. The original tuners were replaced for Schallers.

This Gibson Les Paul custom has no cracks or repairs. The Les Paul Custom has the original Sprague “Black Beauty” Capacitors and the pots date the guitar to 14th week of 1971. In the neck position we find the original Gibson Patent Number Sticker T-top pickup and in the bridge there’s a Dimarzio pickup. The stoptail is not original and the Gibson's frets are low. We would recommend a refret.

Comes with a non original case.
