Montmorency Falls is the second most visited tourist attraction near Quebec City (Old Quebec is the first). Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine isn’t too far from the falls. We felt it was worth a little extra drive-time to pay her a visit. After all Sainte Anne is the Patroness of Québec and the shrine’s history is quite extraordinary – it goes back to 1658. Between activities we had to do something to keep ourselves fueled, so we grabbed lunch at a local spot and it was delish!
