This IR pack is based on our Matchless™ DC30 loaded with Special Design G12M 25w and G12H 30w speakers. This pack includes complete XR IR sets of each speaker individually, plus an additional 108 Speaker Blend IRs. Each Speaker Blend IR is a 50-50 mix of the G12M & G12H. The Speaker Blends folder includes every mic type and mic position with the normal processing options [Unaltered, Enhanced, & Top Boost].

This demo was captured using our XR IRs on the Strymon Iridium. While other IR compatible platforms (fractal, line 6, quad cortex, etc) have many different great amp options, we chose the iridium for this demo because of it’s simple interface and limited amp options (Vox, Marshall, Fender) to make it fast & easy to compare the general tonal qualities and breakup characteristics of each XR IR Pack. Our XR IRs are compatible with ANY platform that can load IRs. You can pair any XR IR pack with any amp - the possibilities are endless!

This IR pack is a part of our new XR IR Collection [XR = extreme realism], which is the result of countless hours of IR experimentation, development, and A/B testing. The XR Collection is our latest and most accurate line of impulse responses that we have ever created. When compared to the real mic’d cab using the same amp, it is difficult to discern any difference. We are proud to say these IRs deliver the truest representation of a cab in tone, feel, breakup quality, and harmonic information when pushed. Unlike our previous tone-matched IRs, these IRs are universal and can be used on any platform that can load IRs and are not dependent on using specific amp settings to sound correct. A Tone Factor Starters folder with 10 hand-selected IRs from the pack is included to help you get started quickly.
