Driving New Dacia Bigster Hybrid-G 4x4 2026 - No Comment!

This video presents the new Dacia Bigster Hybrid-G 150 4x4 (2026) in a pure driving format, without commentary, highlighting the behavior, refinement and capability of Dacia’s most advanced all-wheel-drive system.

The Hybrid-G 150 4x4 combines a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder 48V mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 140 hp on the front axle with a rear electric motor capable of delivering up to 31 hp when extra traction is needed. The total combined system output reaches 154 hp, with 230 Nm from the combustion engine and up to 87 Nm from the electric motor.

Power delivery is managed through a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (EDC) with steering-wheel paddles. The rear electric motor is connected to an innovative 2-speed gearbox, allowing high torque at low speeds and improved efficiency at higher speeds. This enables effective electric rear-axle drive up to 140 km/h while eliminating mechanical drag during normal 4x2 cruising.

Energy is stored in a 0.84 kWh 48V Li-Ion battery, which recharges automatically during deceleration and braking. In urban conditions, the system can operate in electric mode for up to 60% of the time.

The bi-fuel setup includes 50 litres of petrol and 50 litres of LPG, providing a total driving range of up to 1,500 km (WLTP). LPG operation significantly lowers running costs and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to traditional AWD systems.

The electric rear axle delivers instant torque when grip is lost, creating a highly efficient AWD system without a mechanical driveshaft. Multiple driving modes — Auto, Eco, Snow, Mud/Sand, Lock and Hill Descent Control — adapt the vehicle to a wide range of road and off-road conditions.

With the Hybrid-G 150 4x4 drivetrain, the Bigster combines SUV practicality, automatic transmission comfort, electric rear traction and low operating costs, redefining what an affordable C-segment AWD SUV can offer.
