Looks like the ECHO DCS5000 56v chainsaw is dead after just under a few years of very sporadic use. I definitely didn't abuse this machine so not sure what the root cause was. I also didn't word it correctly but the only way I was able to use the DCS5000 chainsaw was with the last Eforce battery I have which was a 2.5 AH battery. That also meant I could out work the battery capacity. That was a big benefit of the 5AH when it worked is it just seemed to last forever!
