Celeste Fig - A VERY EARLY FIG That Is Sweet As Sugar

Описание к видео Celeste Fig - A VERY EARLY FIG That Is Sweet As Sugar

The Celeste Fig is one of the most common figs in the Southeast, and it's common for a reason. The Celeste Fig Tree (sometimes called Celestial Fig Tree by nurseries) is a very prolific fig that produces huge crops of small figs that are very tolerant of wet summers and humid climates. If you are anywhere on the eastern half of the country where humidity and summer rains cause problems with your fig trees, Celeste is a must have because it doesn't sour and burst like many varieties do when exposed to rain and humidity. It is a fantastic fruit tree for your garden.

This is also a must-have variety if your season is short because it is such an early fig. Celeste is one of the earliest fig varieties out there and you'll be eating ripe figs on your Celeste fig tree months before the later season varieties.

Celeste is one of the better tasting early figs that I've tried. The flavor is delicious. It is sweet as sugar with tones of light brown sugar and caramel. There is a Celeste fig taste test at the end of this video.
