California Lost Coast. Is it too dangerous for new riders?

Описание к видео California Lost Coast. Is it too dangerous for new riders?

The Lost Coast is mostly natural and undeveloped area of California North Coast in Humboldt county which includes the King Range. It recieved the name "Lost Coast" after the area depopulated in the 1930s. Due to steep terrain and geological instability of this coastal range, it made this are of coastline too expensive for state highway or county road builders to construct established roads through the area. Thus this area has remained mostly undeveloped and remote . Arguably the most remote area of the California coast. Our route took us from Hwy 101 starting near the north entrance of the Avenue of the Giants, down Lower Bull Creek road. Lower Bull Creek Road turns into Mattole road and continues on through Honeydew and Patrol ending at Ferndale California. This route is nearly all twists and turns and numerous hair pins. The road surface is very poor with some major pot holes. Still, it is a magnificent motorcycle ride.We rode in a half a day. Really need to dedicate an entire day to this ride.
