Norilsk Nickel digitizes its production. At the first stage, the process embraced the mineral resource complex of the company.
What is included in the project? Communication and positioning + mining and geological information system + 3D modeling of underground spaces, objects and events + operational planning + dispatching = creation of a “digital twin” of each of the mines. Electronic data streams are processed and displayed in a visual interface that reflects the situation of the mining enterprise online.
Who is involved in the project? Personnel - geologists, surveyors, mining engineers, mining workers of different specialties; cars and equipment; underground spaces (deposits, ore bodies, mine workings).
What is this work aimed at? To increase the through extraction of metals (up to 1%). At a significant reduction in operating costs (up to 5%). On the growth of other economic indicators at the stage of ore mining. To improve accounting. To reduce industrial and economic risks. To increase transparency and management efficiency (for example, to increase the speed of reaction to any change in the situation, including an emergency).
