So, I'm not a 2D Sonic guy! I tried Sonic Mania and Sonic Origins. Solid games, but I can't quite say my nooby brain has wrapped itself around what made 2D Sonic compelling... until now. While it's maybe not the case for vets, Sonic Superstars is exactly what the doctor ordered.
