Clock spring is a device that contains a wound up wire and allows the airbag, horn and steering wheel buttons to stay connected as the steering wheel is rotated left or right.

Symptoms of bad bad clock spring:
Illumination of the SRS/Airbag light
No sound when hitting the horn
Noises coming from the steering column
No cruise control
No steering wheel mounted radio controls

Torque Spec
-Airbag Module Assembly side screw: 37 ± 4 ft-lb (50 ± 5 N·m)
