Shout Baby lyrics (Jap, Rom, Eng) - My Hero Academia ending

I think this ending was so cool in how it showed the different generations and times. I think combining it with the song itself, it's about changing as an individual as you grow up, but also how the world changes around you. It's interesting to see how the different generations in the stories (the teachers, the current 1-A class, and kids like Eri and Kota) were as young children, high school students, or will be as adults (& especially if you read the manga--OOF). I thought it could also be more about the change from childhood or innocence or being defenseless, so I tried to find pictures of characters smiling and/or when they were young.

This was also THE HARDEST SONG I've translated yet-- I was going back and forth between like three different ones because I was trying to stay as close to the original translation... but also have it make sense.... So the square brackets are used for words I kind of inserted around what I'd find to be more along what was exactly being said, but giving it more context and emotion for English speakers, so they might be kind of annoying to look at, but I just wanted to indicate that was more flushing out meaning than a direct translation. Also there's a lot of pictures in this so sorry if it seems chaotic or all over the place haha
