Felipe is joined by Angel this week to discuss the happenings of the Baseball Life Fantasy Baseball League as the guys shared what went right, what went wrong, and how to move forward in preparation to get ready for 2025 fantasy baseball drafts.

The guys also took a look at the league-wide trends in baseball and try to answer the question that has been a central theme of this year's podcast season: did the 2023 rule changes actually work?

The show then continued a discussion that stemmed from the Baseball Life Facebook group about Luis Arraez and the popular notion that "old school" baseball can still be an effective way to produce in modern baseball, but is Arraez the blueprint for other high-contact players to follow? Or is he just an anomaly (the only .300 hitter with less than 10 homeruns)?

On the other hand, a player with similar skillset, saw improvements in terms of the analytical statistics and saw a breakout year in Arraez's teammate, Jurickson Profar.


The guys also get into a deep discussion about finding the balance between their real life while maintaining their fantasy baseball teams.
