Changing the representation of disability on our screens / Zu Filipuik / University of Glasgow

Zu is an English Literature and Film & Television student from Poland. Growing up with a disability, she noticed a distinct lack of disabled role models in cinema, television and on social media. Now, she’s on a mission to change the portrayal of disabled people on our screens.

To help her work towards her ambition, she interviewed actor and activist Adam Pearson (‘Under the Skin’, ‘Chained for Life’) at the Glasgow Film Festival.
