I really tried to showcase the city of Glasgow, it is Scotland's largest City and doesn't always get the tourism it should
I love this City, the spirit and people of Glasgow has given creation to some of the UKs best comedy and comedians, and its the hardships and suffering that caused these people to show heart and humor when it was needed most.
the Peoples Palace is a museum of Scottish culture and heritage
the Glasgow Green is a big and peaceful park that would be a great place for a time free leisurely stroll
the Barra's Market would be a beautiful sight if it was open, weekend and Sunday markets are always a great thing to just walk and look around and the Barra's own website claims to have "Banter Galore" and that would have made a great addition to my video!
I'm not sure what the popular opinion on Tennent's larger is but it is in a lot of movies and tv shows, that makes it famous enough, and although I'm not a huge beer drinker, I liked it.
the Necropolis is an unusual tourist attraction but it is listed on a lot of the must see websites, it is the location of a lot of historical figures graves, however, I am blindly ignorant of the significance of a lot of the people.
I actually spent a lot of time looking up information on the Glasgow Cathedral, but I'm sure I could bore someone to death with all that I learnt about Robert the Bruce and other historical figures, so I tried to keep it short.
George Square is a spot that comes up in a few movies and tv shows including Still Game.
The Duke is maybe one of my favorite sights of Glasgow, the Duke of wellington statue has had a traffic cone on his head on and off since the 80's although technically illegal and despite CCTV catching and prosecuting people putting cones on his head, the Duke without a cone just wouldn't be right!,
the persistence and dedication to the prank is a sign of Glasgow's love for humor and regardless of the obstacles
Central station is also very dear to me, I arrived in Glasgow only 3 days earlier and felt at home in the city immediately!
the transport museum was quite a sight, Ive added the Ewan McGregor trip to my watchlist but the bikes were my favorite part of the museum!
Id like to say that the Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and Museum were an amazing sight but... me and museums..... it was at least free
The Botanics were much as I would have hoped from a botanical Garden, If I had days to spare in Glasgow I would have gone back and enjoyed them more. unfortunatley due to my time frame leisurely strolls aren't available.
and Finally the Kelpies, I was thrilled that drones were allowed here, they were quite a sight that can even be seen from the road
I really don't like that my time in the UK has come to an end.
over the last two weeks ive been activate every day, had an adventure every waking hour. I cant wait to go back again
