Video Summary:
In this YouTube video, I, Houston, provide a helpful tip for those struggling to build business credit. I recommend considering the Capital One Spark Business Card, specifically the gold one, especially if you have bad credit but a minimum credit score of 580. Many may not be aware that even if you had a bad relationship with a Capital One personal credit card, such as a charge-off over a year ago, you may still qualify for the Capital One business credit card. This card is beneficial because it helps build your business credit faster than other options as it reports to Dunn and Bradstreet, Equifax, and Small Business Financial Exchange.
It's important to note that Capital One provides a vantage score but pulls your FICO score 8 from all three credit bureaus. They may use the other two credit files if one is locked, minimizing inquiries on all three files. Opening a business checking account with Capital One and making weekly deposits can also improve your business bank rating.
Instead of investing in numerous net 30s, I suggest considering the Capital One Spark Business Card or the CorePay card if you have a credit score of at least 600. The CorePay card does a hard pull on your Experian file but reports to Experian, Equifax, and Dunn and Bradstreet.
If you have any questions about business credit or personal credit funding, feel free to click the link in the description to schedule a one-on-one consultation. Thank you for watching.
