Fortnite: Banned!!! #FreeFortnite - Apple & Google Ban Fortnite!!! - (Free Vbucks & Pickaxe)

Fortnite has just made a large change to the way they handle purchasing vbucks and in-game currency. This change has gone against both Apple and Google policy resulting in Fortnite being instantly removed from both IOS and Android. Epic Games made this drastic change to the way vbucks are purchased to start a controversy and attempt to change both Apple and Google policy to better the market for all developers to have a more free market. Regardless of these changes, Epic Games made to Fortnite being good for the people as a whole it does also mean billions of IOS users will not be able to play Fortnite Battle Royale for the current time. This stretches from IOS to Mac users as well which many due forget about.

Why is Fortnite banned? Money is the simple answer as Epic Games wanted to make purchasing vbucks cheaper to the player at a slightly reduced price of $7.99 purchasing directly through Epic Games rather than $9.99 from all other platforms. Epic Games did give players the option to pay through the Apple and Google store at full price rather than discounted price however this still violates terms and conditions of most platforms currently.

Consoles such as the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are currently allowing the recently lowered price point for vbucks being paid through the Epic Game store directly. This, however, could change at any point for console players may be resulting in more bans. Sony did recently invest in Epic Games which ties them even closer to Fortnite than any other platform meaning PS4 players may have a better chance of avoiding any such bans. This is all speculation at this point but Fortnite being banned by Apple and Google is fact.

There is currently an ongoing retaliation by Epic Games directed at Apple only for the time being for removing the app of Fortnite for violating terms and conditions. Epic Games by using a civil lawsuit referring to Apple's Store policy utilizing and acting as a monopoly this if proven in court could drastically change the entire video game and app industry. This mainly refers to in-game purchases within an app or video game such as Fortnite. Currently, the industry market takes around 30% of any profits an app or video game makes off in-game purchases. That means prices to consumers have to be slightly higher to accommodate for storefronts from Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Google within games and apps to pay the developers and publishers.
