In this video I talk to a bullion dealer about these huge gold scams that have been going on and how to avoid them. Scammers are posing as IRS agents and Police to get elderly people to buy massive amounts of gold and give it to them. At Portland Precious Metals there have been 3 recent versions of this exact same scam. The detectives worked with this bullion dealer to set up fake receipts and pictures of bullion to lure out the scammer and the sting operation was successful! One gold scammer is behind bars, but there are many more out there. These gold scams prey on the elderly and take their life savings.
