Penmar Park Sunset Sessions Outdoor Music Concert - Encouraging Concert Attendees Please Don't Drive To The Event Venue #VeniceBeach #California USA 🚴

Danny Slant departs from his usual channel content of bicycle riding adventures and today covers something in his immediate neighborhood of Penmar Park Venice Beach California, it's the annual Friday night Outdoor concert series at Penmar Park Golf Course and restaurant The Penmar, called the Sunset Sessions Music Event. Danny Slant interviews concert attendees and asks them what is the name of the group they are going to see?, what style of music do they play?, does it matter if they don't know anything about the music being played that night as long as they are having fun?, then he brings up the question about how did they get to the concert? Did they walk, ride a bicycle, ride an electric scooter, skateboard? Take a ride share , taxi , Uber or Lyft, or did they drive over and then park all over the residential neighborhood?. Many people did in fact drive. Residents of the neighborhood, including Danny Slant, do not appreciate people Driving to the event, and then parking their cars in front of our houses for 4 to 6 hours during the concert, it makes it very difficult to park in front of your own home when you get done from a hard day of work. The concerts are so popular that now the entire East Venice community is invaded by 1000's of extra cars, so Danny Slant tries to encourage everybody to keep enjoying the concerts, but to consider using walking , riding bikes, and the ride share / taxi instead of driving. A security guard tries to tell Danny Slant that he can't video tape people at the park. Danny Slant reminds him that the park is exactly that, a Public park, and Danny Slant has the a US Constitutional protected activity of the First Amendment, Freedom of Speech, and this is his right to be in public and film whomever he wants. Most people were very fun and interesting and up for having a great time and being interviewed. Most were very receptive about taking a Non Driving way to get to the concert. Danny Slant will keep spreading his message, that it's better to NOT Drive to a concert, especially since this is at a bar & restaurant where they serve alcohol. 99.9% of the attendees are wonderful, but with over 1,000 people in attendance, that small percentage is enough people to cause problems. We want them to NOT DRIVE.. Hopefully with Danny Slant continuing to spread this message the neighborhood community will continue to support the Friday night Sunset Sessions Concerts at Penmar Park.
